This setup has a 1Y bell with the old hand engraving, a thayer valve and a TW47 slide. It is made by the Hirsbrunner company, a small maker in Switzerland. There are dents and worn finish, but its a workhorse. First off, it's a 70H which IMO is the classic single valved bass trombone. This bass trombone was made during the UMI years of ownership and while it's not a top tier bass it certainly isn't the "Yugo" many folks make them out to be.
