Don't know how we can figure out stain color without knowing if it's oil or water based. I have red oak flooring in DR & hall. Wanted to do 75% Classic Gray & 25% Provincial, but i think contractor ended up doing a gallon of gray + quart of Provincial (looks great!) And we wanted to see those gorgeous grains in the wood.
